Car
From east and west
Take motorway A2, leave exit “Herrenhausen/Zentrum” to the B6 (Westschnellweg). After 8 km at the traffic lights turn left to the “Bremer Damm”, direction “Zentrum/Universität”. After 2 km the highways ends at the “Königsworther Platz”. Turn sharply left into the “Nienburger Straße (direction Herrenhäuser Gärten)”. After 300 m you will see the castle (main building of the Leibniz Universität Hannover) on the right. There are only a few parking spaces available. Following the “Nienburger Straße” you will reach further locations of the university: Schneiderberg, Herrenhausen and Berggarten as well as the “Mensa”.
From south
Take motorway A7, leave exit “Hannover-Süd” direction “Messe” to the B6 (Messeschnellweg). After the fair grounds, turn to the B65 (Südschnellweg) direction “Zentrum”. Leave it at the exit “Zentrum” and turn right at the traffic lights to the “Hildesheimer Straße”. The “Hildesheimer Straße” ends at the “City-Ring”. Now turn left direction “Universität / Herrenhäuser Gärten”. Follow the street from the “Aegidientorplatz”, “Friedrichswall”, “Leibnizufer”, “Brühlstraße” to the “Königsworther Platz”. On the right you see the “Continental-Hochhaus” of the university. To the main building and the other locations of the university go straight ahead to the “Nienburger Straße” (direction Herrenhäuser Gärten). After 300 m you will see the castle (main building of the Leibniz Universität Hannover) on the right. There are only a few parking spaces available. Following the “Nienburger Straße” you will reach further locations of the university: Schneiderberg, Herrenhausen and Berggarten as well as the “Mensa”.
From north
Leave the motorway A7 at the “Dreieck Hannover-Nord” for direction “Hannover-Nord/Dortmund (A352). Follow the A352 merge to the A2. Leave at the exit “Herrenhausen/Zentrum” to the B6 (Westschnellweg). Continue as described under “from east and west”.

From the main station please go straight ahead from the main exit about 400 m on foot to the station “Kröpcke” or go one station by subway no. 1 (direction Laatzen), 2 (Rethen), 3 (Wettbergen) or 7 (Wettbergen).
From station “Kröpcke” you reach the Leibniz Universität in about 5 minutes. Take the subway 4 direction “Garbsen” or 5 direction “Stöcken” (3 stops, first stop after leaving underground section). Now you see the castle (main building of the university).
The “Continental-Hochhaus” (2 stops) and the location “Schneiderberg” (4 stops) you reach with the subways 4 or 5, too.
